The Gatehouse, a popular pub in Wolverhampton, has reopened its doors to the public following a six-figure investment.
The Hungry Horse pub on Donington Grove officially reopened on Friday, December 28 to welcome locals and tourists to experience its new and improved look.
Key features of the investment include an upgraded interior layout with a spacious, open-plan restaurant area, stylish décor and comfortable furniture to create elevated dining experiences for groups of all sizes.
The Gatehouse has also introduced a new self-serve coffee machine, serving hot drinks and free refills throughout the day.
The pub offers full table service via the Greene King app, giving customers the opportunity to order food and drinks and make bookings at the click of a button.
Outside, children can make the most of a new outdoor play area, and the garden has been improved with new furniture and warm lighting to create a welcoming space for families to come together.
Additional TV screens and an upgraded sound system have been installed to provide top-quality entertainment via Sky Sports and TNT Sports throughout the week, while a brand-new dart board has also been introduced.
Following its official reopening, guests can experience the Gatehouse’s new food and drinks menus, with signature dishes including the K-BBQ Burger, Chicken Parmigiana and a Full Monty Mixed Grill alongside seasonal desserts such a Baileys™ Caramel Profiterole Sharer and Lemon Meringue Pie.
The pub also offers a varied breakfast menu on weekends, with items ranging from a Big Brekkie Roll to a Frozen Smoothie Bowl.
