Jakarta, IO – Population administration is conducted during a public service and outreach activity for post-Eid newcomers in Jakarta (Apr. 21). The Jakarta Population and Civil Registration Agency (Dukcapil) recorded 7,911 new arrivals in the capital as of Apr. 19.
The data collection, which began on March 25, remains dynamic and is expected to continue increasing through the end of April. More than 57 percent of newcomers fall within the productive age group of 20 to 39 years. The data is used to map the annual urbanization flow that typically follows Eid.
