Partly Cloudy Skies Expected in Jakarta on Friday

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts sunny to cloudy conditions in Jakarta on Friday, May 8, from morning to evening.

However, light rain is likely to fall at night in South Jakarta and East Jakarta, ANTARA reported.

From early morning until morning, Central and South Jakarta are expected to be sunny, while West Jakarta, East Jakarta, North Jakarta, and Thousand Islands will likely be partly cloudy. Morning temperatures will range from 24 to 28 degrees Celsius.

As the afternoon progresses, the weather across Jakarta will be generally sunny with partly cloudy skies. Temperatures will rise, peaking at around 30-32 degrees Celsius.

In the afternoon, the weather in most areas of the capital will remain cloudy and partly cloudy. BMKG has not predicted significant rain in the afternoon for most areas of Jakarta.

However, the BMKG predicts that light rain is likely in South and East Jakarta at night, while West, Central, and North Jakarta, as well as the Thousand Islands, are predicted to be cloudy to overcast.

The air temperature at night ranges from 26 to 29 degrees Celsius.
