The Kabul Tribune (KT) — Two contracts worth a combined
$1.44 million were signed for the sale of desulfurized diesel fraction to
buyers from Afghanistan and the United Arab Emirates, Turkmenistan media
reported.
The deals were concluded Friday on the external market of
the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan, according to
Arzuw.news, citing information from the state exchange.
The buyers were entrepreneurs from Afghanistan and the
United Arab Emirates, while the seller was the state-owned concern Turkmenhimiya,
according to the report.
The contracts covered desulfurized diesel fraction, a
petroleum product manufactured by Turkmenistan’s petrochemical industry.
The two transactions had a combined value of $1.44 million,
the report said, without providing details on the volume of diesel involved or

facilitates the export of the country’s petroleum and petrochemical products to
international buyers.
