Katie Price’s drama-riddled marriage has hit a new low after she refused to bail her new husband out of prison.

Lee Andrews, a 43-year-old Dubai-based businessman who claims to have millions in the bank, is currently behind bars in the country and has been begging his new wife to give him the £140 000 (R3,1 million) he needs for his release.

However, the 48-year-old TV personality and former British glamour model has refused.

“I’ve made it clear to Lee, I will never give him money,” Katie told The Sun. “I’ll never give a man money, I’ve done it all my life.”

Lee was arrested and detained last month “for a private civil matter” but told Katie he’d been kidnapped and was being interrogated on suspicion of spying (espionage) – a charge authorities have denied.

I’ve always been the breadwinner. My divorces, I’m the one that always has to give. I said to Lee I’ll never do it

After he’d been missing for two weeks Katie’s and Lee’s families launched an international appeal to find him, with Katie later revealing he was “alive and well” at Dubai’s Al Awir Central Prison.

The reality star married Lee Andrews in a white cut-out gown in Dubai after knowing him for just a week.

He told the mom of five he’d been “bundled into a van” with his hands tied at the Dubai border and taken to a so-called “black site” while attempting to fly to London.

Katie immediately flew to Dubai to pay the £6 500 (R143 000) to release him. However, she was told at the courthouse that the amount was now £140 000 (R3,1 million) pending another fraud case involving one of his exes. Katie declined to pay.

The ex-wife in question is Dina Taji, who was with Lee for three and a half years. She took legal action against him after accusing him of taking out a £200 000 (R4,4 million) mortgage in her name without her knowledge, which he denies.

The case landed him in jail for three weeks and resulted in a travel ban from Dubai.

As much as I want to listen to the women [his exes] and I’m really open-minded about it, I know what a good woman I am

Lee, who is originally from Nottinghamshire in England, has since asked Katie to set up a GoFundMe page to raise the bail money, which she’s refused to do.

In a phone conversation she reportedly told him that “no one will do that for you, Lee, trust me. Everyone hates you”.

Katie met Lee online in January 2026 and married him about a week later in Dubai.

Since then, multiple reports have emerged claiming he’s a master manipulator who targets wealthy women. He’s also been exposed for lying about having a PhD from Cambridge and being on the Labour Party’s board of advisors.

Lee’s social media is filled with images of private jets, gym sessions and flashy cars. He has also posted now-deleted photos of himself with Elon Musk and Kim Kardashian at what appeared to be an event for his company, Aura. The images are believed to be AI-generated, with a source close to Kim telling The Sun: “Kim doesn’t know him, the photo is fake.”

Lee regularly posts pictures of himself in the gym.

Another of his ex-girlfriends, Crystal Janke (40), has also come forward saying Lee defrauded her by getting her to hand over £123 000 (R2,7 million) to invest in his company, for which she never saw a return.

Katie’s fans have voiced their concern on social media, with one writing, “So sorry but you need to wake up and smell the coffee.” Another pleaded, “Girl no, he ain’t the one, run.”

But Katie, who has been married three times before, is sticking with Lee and insists she’s nobody’s fool.

“I’m 48. I don’t need to waste my time. We get along really well and he’s so intelligent,” she says.

She does, however, plan to get answers when they’re reunited. “When I finally see Lee, I am going to question him. And if the answers I get are not right, that will be it: I’ll be done. That’s it.”
