Dubai, UAE – Dubai continues to strengthen its position as one of the world’s leading destinations for attracting international events and conferences. Data from the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism reveals continued momentum in the business events sector, with the number of international events hosted by the emirate growing in the coming years. To enhance visitor traffic and investments and establish itself as a global center for business, innovation, and quality of life.
According to the data, Dubai has submitted 198 bids to host international business events, representing more than 140,000 expected delegates, until 2032. So far, it has succeeded in confirming hosting 70 international business events, which will attract more than 55,000 delegates during the same period.
Among the most prominent events that Dubai won the right to host until 2032 are the annual general meeting of the International Chamber of Shipping and the International Shipping Federation in 2027.
