In 2017, Travis Scott was operating on a totally different level than he is today. Back then, he didn’t have two of his biggest albums, Astroworld and Utopia, under his belt, and he was just beginning his partnership with Nike. The duo started with a simple Air Force 1 collab as part of the AF100 series to celebrate the shoe’s 35th birthday in December 2017, following up with a sail version of the sneaker in 2018. After a few Jordan releases, Scott went back to the AF1 in 2019 and dropped a “collab” pair with Utopia branding in 2023 (it was really a GR AF1 with a stamped logo on the heel). Now, three years removed from the silhouette that kicked off the Nike x Travis Scott relationship, Scott is going back to the model with a new Ice Blue colorway.
Travis Scott x Nike Air Force 1 Low Ice Blue Details
A few months back at Nike Toma in Atlanta, Scott was pictured wearing an icy blue AF1 with ostrich leather, but at the time, it was unknown if it was a GR or a collab. A new report from Kicks Finder, who also just leaked the upcoming Travis Scott Zoom Vapor 12 tennis shoe, shows that the model is getting a drop. Another report from Brandon1an and Sneaker Market RO on X states that the pair will be released via pre-order, something that Nike has really ramped up in the past few months.
Travis’ new take on the Air Force 1 Low coats the silhouette in ice blue leather, with ostrich details on the mudguard, midfoot, heel, and eyestays. The perforated toebox and Swoosh keep the traditional smooth leather finish. We can’t see any branding details for Travis or Cactus Jack since La Flame’s jeans cover much of the sneaker, but expect some changes to the tongue tag and or heel tab. Finishing the look is the white midsole and blue outsole.
