3 U.S. Drug Manufacturing Stocks Investors Are Watching As Tariffs Rise

Tariffs on imported generic drugs are set to rise sharply over the next few years, and that kind of policy shock rarely stays contained to one corner of the market. For investors, the question is which U.S. pharmaceutical and biotech manufacturing stocks might stand to benefit if production shifts closer to home, and which could face new pressures through supply chain or pricing risks. This article looks at how the new tariff path could affect larger domestic drug manufacturers and contract producers, and highlights 3 stocks that appear positively exposed to this news-driven theme.

BeOne Medicines (ONC)

Overview: BeOne Medicines is a global oncology company based in Switzerland that develops and sells cancer treatments, including commercial products like BRUKINSA for blood cancers, TEVIMBRA immunotherapy for solid and blood tumors, and several other targeted therapies. The company is also advancing a large pipeline of small molecules, antibodies and antibody drug conjugates across multiple tumor types.

Operations: BeOne Medicines generates about US$5.7b in revenue from pharmaceutical products, with roughly US$3.1b from the U.S., US$1.8b from China, US$0.7b from Europe and the remainder from other markets.

Market Cap: US$34.5b

BeOne Medicines stands out because it already has meaningful oncology products on the market, a deep late stage pipeline and a manufacturing footprint that includes significant U.S. capacity at its Hopewell, New Jersey site. Management says this footprint helps blunt the impact of new tariffs on imported drugs. The company has recently turned profitable, trades well below one estimate of fair value and has been posting high gross margins while targeting GAAP operating breakeven and positive operating cash flow. That said, heavy reliance on BRUKINSA, high R&D spend, board governance concerns and insider selling are real watchpoints that could matter if competition or policy pressure intensifies. Investors who want the full picture need to look much closer at the details behind those headline strengths and risks.

BeOne Medicines pairs a growing oncology portfolio with U.S. manufacturing that could matter more as tariffs rise. The real story, however, sits in its valuation and cash profile, so review the BeOne Medicines financials in the BeOne Medicines financial health report

Belite Bio (BLTE)

Overview: Belite Bio is a clinical stage biopharmaceutical company based in San Diego that is developing oral drugs for serious eye and liver diseases, led by Tinlarebant, which is in phase 3 trials for Stargardt disease type 1 and geographic atrophy where no pharmacologic treatments currently exist.

Market Cap: US$6.0b

Belite Bio is one to watch because it sits at the point where a late stage rare disease asset, Tinlarebant, could move the company from pure R&D spending toward its first commercial revenue stream. A strong cash position of US$772.6 million provides room to fund trials, build a field force and pursue U.S., European and Japanese approvals without immediate refinancing pressure. At the same time, Belite Bio is still pre revenue, reported a net loss of US$77.6 million for 2025 and is investing ahead of any launch, so delays, pricing pushback or weaker than hoped data from the PHOENIX trial in geographic atrophy could make those fixed costs more painful and dilute the bullish analyst assumptions around future revenue, earnings and P/E expansion.

Belite Bio’s late stage Tinlarebant story and US$772.6 million cash pile could be masking a far more interesting setup for the stock; review the analyst forecasts for Belite Bio before the PHOENIX trial turns the narrative one way or the other

ADMA Biologics (ADMA)

Overview: ADMA Biologics develops and manufactures plasma-derived therapies like BIVIGAM, ASCENIV and Nabi-HB for patients with immune deficiencies and certain infectious disease exposures, and also operates plasma collection centers and a pipeline of additional plasma-based treatments.

Operations: ADMA Biologics generates about US$493.0m of its revenue from ADMA Biomanufacturing, US$16.7m from Plasma Collection Centers and US$0.1m from unallocated license revenues, with US$506.8m from the United States and US$3.1m from international markets.

Market Cap: US$2.0b

ADMA Biologics is drawing attention because its fully U.S. based plasma supply chain fits directly into a tariff backdrop that penalizes imported generics while rewarding domestic production. Management highlights that manufacturing, fill finish and distribution all sit onshore. The company is already selling plasma-derived products into a U.S. only market, reports high current margins and ROE, and is working on yield improvements that could affect profitability, even as refinancing has given it more financial flexibility. At the same time, ADMA relies heavily on a narrow product lineup, faces legal claims around past disclosures and uses external borrowing to fund growth, all of which could weigh on the story if margin resilience or demand for its immunoglobulin therapies changes.

ADMA Biologics’ fully U.S. based plasma chain and high current margins have investors focusing on upside, but the real twist is how sustainable that profile looks when you read the analysis report for ADMA Biologics
