A familiar face at Textron Aviation is taking over the top job at the division as Brian Rohloff gets ready to take over as President and CEO from Ron Draper, who’s held the job for eight years. Rohloff has been with the company for 29 years, working his way through the ranks from running the paint department to his current role as Senior Vice President of Customer Support. Textron CEO Lisa Atherton said Rohloff’s long career with the company will help him continue its growth. “Throughout his 29-year career with Textron Aviation, Brian has demonstrated strong leadership across multiple functions and has built trusted relationships with employees, customers and suppliers,” she said in a news release.
Rohloff said Draper has left the company in good shape and he will build on that. “Under his guidance, Textron Aviation strengthened its position as an industry leader, expanded its product portfolio and fostered a culture centered on pride, quality and safety,” Rohloff said. Rohloff assumes the top job on Aug. 31.
