Nexus Underwriting, the independent specialty managing general agent, has announced the appointment of James Brandejs as Head of General Aviation within its Aviation team, reflecting the company’s ongoing investment in the growth of its Aviation underwriting division.

nexus-group-logo-newBrandejs joins the business with nine years of underwriting experience and a broad background across general aviation. His experience includes underwriting domestic aviation accounts in the United States and managing international business from the UK, providing him with extensive insight into global aviation markets.

Nexus Underwriting said the appointment further enhances its ability to support brokers and clients through a specialist aviation offering and strengthens the company’s underwriting capabilities in the sector.

Commenting on the appointment, Steve Eccles of Nexus Underwriting said: “We are very pleased to have someone with James’ knowledge and experience joining our team, helping us to further develop our customer proposition.”

Nexus Underwriting stated that it is pleased to welcome Brandejs to the team and looks forward to the contribution he will make as the company continues to develop its aviation business.
