Kuala Lumpur, June 2 (SANA) ) Malaysia has affirmed that Israel’s attempts to Judaize the Al-Aqsa Mosque are shameful and constitute a violation of its sanctity, deeming these practices provocative and unacceptable.

The Malaysian Foreign Ministry said in a statement on Tuesday that it strongly condemned the storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque by Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli police, according to the Malaysian National News Agency (Bernama).

The statement said that these practices, carried out by extremist settlers, constitute an attempt to change the cultural, historical, and authentic identity of Al-Aqsa Mosque.

“The international community must not remain silent regarding the hostile acts and provocations perpetrated by Israel,” the statement stressed.

It reiterated Malaysia’s call for the international community and the United Nations to take urgent and concrete measures to halt these violations and ensure Israel is held fully accountable for them.
