PTT Station powers people, not just vehicles, via this new Hakuhodo Bangkok campaign – Campaign Brief Asia

PTT Oil and Retail Business (OR) has partnered with Hakuhodo Bangkok to launch ‘Every Effort Matters’, a new brand campaign that repositions PTT Station as more than a place to refuel vehicles – but a place that also restores confidence and encourages people to keep moving forward.

Directed by Wattanapong Wongwan, the filmmaker behind Netflix’s The Believers, the campaign challenges the tendency to judge people solely by their achievements, highlighting the effort that often goes unseen before success.

The film centres on a young graduate struggling to find her place in the workforce, whose confidence is restored after meeting an older employee starting a new career after retirement. Although from different generations, both are navigating uncertainty, learning new skills and confronting self-doubt, reinforcing the campaign’s message that every journey begins with perseverance.

Rather than positioning PTT Station purely as a functional stop, the campaign transforms the brand into an emotional touchpoint where people can pause, reset and find the motivation to continue.

The integrated campaign extends across film, social, out-of-home and in-store touchpoints nationwide.

Hakuhodo Bangkok’s creative approach builds on the insight that while society often celebrates results, it rarely recognises the determination required to achieve them. ‘Every Effort Matters’ encourages audiences to value progress as much as success.

The hero film’s understated storytelling reflects the emotional challenges faced by people entering new stages of life, while reinforcing OR’s broader ambition to evolve PTT Station into a brand that provides energy for both vehicles and people.
