A routine visit turned into a celebration at Hartford HealthCare Medical Group Primary Care in Winsted when a patient arrived on her 85th birthday. Patient service coordinators Alexis Moranino, Ashlee O’Connor and Lee Stavola grabbed party hats, medical assistant Helenna Hauser decorated the exam room door, and Stephanie Morton, MD, joined in with her own festive headband.
The patient left with a smile, a photo with the team and a story to share, calling it “a much better birthday gift” than her mammogram earlier in the morning!
