JAKARTA – kiOra, a new Japanese girl group, marked a first achievement for performing abroad. Celebrating the CENTRAL MUSIC & ENTERTAINMENT FESTIVAL 2026 in Kuala Lumpur, they performed as the opening act.
The group of four members also announced that the official music video for their highly anticipated debut single, Coco, will premiere globally on Saturday, August 8, 2026, coinciding with the digital release of the song.
Appearing in front of an enthusiastic audience in Kuala Lumpur, kiOra held their first international stage performance, marking an important step in the group’s global journey.

First introduced at the 2026 HEAD IN THE CLOUDS Music & Arts Festival in Tokyo, which was organized by 88rising at Makuhari Messe, kiOra represents a new music movement that the group describes as “Tokyo Hyper City Pop” – a blend of hyperpop vibes with the charm of city pop melodies.

kiOra was originally scheduled to perform at the HEAD IN THE CLOUDS Music & Arts Festival in Los Angeles, USA, on August 8, but his appearance has been canceled due to unforeseen circumstances.
