A new stop on the international padel circuit concluded in Manila, this time with a tournament — the FIP Promises High Velocity — dedicated to NextGen players. Local athletes stood out in the Boys’ Under 18 category, with Khian Marcus Abellera and Justine Dela Cruz taking the title. There was also success for Indonesian padel, with the Boys’ Under 14 title claimed by Riyu Kuri Kala Mornee Kanigoro and Ghaniar Aldric Umaya Aldric. In the Girls’ draw, the Under 14 category saw standout performances from Malaysia’s Ever Leong Yong Yue, partnering Japan’s Chikage Yasuda.
