Indonesia stocks lower at close of trade; IDX Composite Index down 0.85% By Investing.com

Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Financials, Agriculture and Basic Industry sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Jakarta, the lost 0.85%.

The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Magna Finance Tbk (), which rose 34.09% or 30.00 points to trade at 118.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Nusantara Almazia () added 25.00% or 29.00 points to end at 145.00 and Arthavest Tbk () was up 25.00% or 500.00 points to 2,500.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Tunas Alfin Tbk (), which fell 14.87% or 145.00 points to trade at 830.00 at the close. Asia Pramulia Tbk PT () declined 14.63% or 36.00 points to end at 210.00 and Intermedia Capital Tbk () was down 14.55% or 16.00 points to 94.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 473 to 239 and 149 ended unchanged.

for July delivery was down 4.04% or 3.90 to $92.70 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, for delivery in August rose 3.00% or 2.80 to hit $96.22 a barrel, while the fell 0.03% or 1.40 to trade at $4,555.00 a troy ounce.

USD/IDR was up 0.43% to 17,791.20, while AUD/IDR rose 0.17% to 12,741.15.

The was down 0.19% at 99.00.
