The Hong Kong Federation of Insurers (HKFI) announces its new Governing Committee for 2026-2027

The Hong Kong Federation of Insurers (HKFI) has announced the constitution of its Governing Committee for the term 2026 – 2027.

Ms Sally Wan of AXA General Insurance Hong Kong is the Chairman of the new Governing Committee. She has extensive management and business development experience within the insurance sector across the Asia-Pacific region.

Mr Alger Fung of AIA International has been appointed the Deputy Chairman. He brings over 30 years of experience in the life insurance industry and is passionate about driving excellence in customer experience.

The other members of the new Governing Committee are:

China Ping An Insurance (Hong Kong) 

Mr Michael Han 

Prudential General Insurance Hong Kong

Mr Cody Hui

Hong Leong Insurance (Asia)

Zurich Insurance Company

Mr Clement Lam   

Sun Life Hong Kong

Mr Lawrence Lam     

Prudential Hong Kong

Mr Ellick Tsui 

Chow Tai Fook Life Insurance 

 

The two Councils of the Governing Committee of HKFI are responsible for all technical matters concerning general insurance and life insurance, respectively. The General Insurance Council is chaired by Mr Kelvin Cheung, while the Life Insurance Council is chaired by Mr Alfred Cheung.
