Jakarta, IO – Digital Transformation Indonesia (DTI) Series 2026 officially opened today at the Jakarta International Convention Center (JICC), marking the start of Indonesia’s largest digital technology conference and exhibition, running from Aug. 5–6, 2026.

Now in its fifth year, the event features four co-located exhibitions and conferences—DTI-CX, DCTI-CX, DTI-HR, and CRD-CX (Cyber Resilience & Defense)—bringing together government officials, regulators, industry leaders, and technology providers from 16 strategic sectors.

Adhouse Clarion Events President Director Toerangga Putra thanked government ministries, strategic partners, and co-hosts for supporting this year’s event. He expressed hope that DTI Series 2026 would support cross-sector collaboration and accelerate Indonesia’s competitiveness in digital economy.

Representing the Minister of Communication and Digital Affairs, Director General of Digital Ecosystem Edwin Hidayat Abdullah said Indonesia is entering a critical phase of its digital transformation as it works toward its Indonesia Emas 2045 vision of becoming a developed nation and one of the world’s top seven economies.

He emphasized that the country’s digital ecosystem is built on four interconnected pillars: physical infrastructure, virtual infrastructure, digital platforms and intermediation, and digital services and applications. He added that digital development also requires skilled talent, quality investment, a healthy digital ecosystem, and trustworthy governance.

Head of the National Cyber and Crypto Agency (BSSN) Nugroho Sulistyo Budi stated that it is crucial to build a secure, resilient, and trusted digital ecosystem. He noted that President Prabowo Subianto has identified digitalization as essential for creating a faster, more efficient, transparent, and responsive bureaucracy.

Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto said cybersecurity plays a pivotal part in strengthening Indonesia’s economic resilience. He noted that while global economic growth averages around 3.5%, Indonesia continues to grow above 5%. He also stressed that expanding the digital economy will require stronger energy infrastructure to support demand from data centers and AI technologies.

The opening ceremony was also attended by leaders of MASTEL, IDPRO, PMSM Indonesia, and Asian Development Bank Institute (ADBI), who discussed the role of digital transformation in driving regional economic growth.

DTI Series 2026 showcases the latest digital solutions across 16 key industries, including artificial intelligence, machine learning, cybersecurity, data center technology, HR technology, cloud computing, and enterprise digital solutions. Visitors can attend strategic conference sessions, technology demonstrations, and interactive workshops free of charge throughout the two-day event.

This year’s edition features more than 260 speakers, 450 technology solutions, and 133 conference sessions, with organizers expecting to welcome over 13,000 visitors. The event is supported by the Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs (Komdigi), MASTEL, APJII, IDPRO, and PMSM Indonesia. (est)
