Co-organised by Louis Koo, the inaugural mega-event brings Hollywood icons and rare collectibles to Hong Kong.
Comic Con makes its Hong Kong debut on May 29, transforming the Convention and Exhibition Centre into a pop culture sanctuary over three days.
Co-organised between Optics Ventures and One Cool Group, the entertainment company of legendary actor Louis Koo, who also serves as the event’s official ambassador, the convention is designed to bridge worlds. “Our mission is to unite Western pop culture with original Eastern talent, fully leveraging Hong Kong’s unique advantage as a crossroads of East and West,” Koo said.
While the city’s animation expos have always leaned heavily toward Japanese anime, HKCC is rewriting the playbook. This landmark edition introduces an elevated mix of American comic lore, sci-fi cinema, and high-end collectible models. For discerning collectors and cinephiles alike, it promises an unprecedented platform to engage face-to-face with global creative masters, marking the most significant pop culture milestone Hong Kong has seen in years.
