One in three affluent Hong Kong residents intends to relocate to mainland cities in the Greater Bay Area, according to an OCBC Bank survey that points to a growing shift toward cross-border living.
The findings highlight a broader trend of Hong Kong residents seeking more affordable housing, larger living spaces and health care options across the border, as the government expands measures that make welfare and medical benefits more portable.
