Dollar Tree Just Brought Back the $1.25 Treat We Buy 10 at a Time

Shopping at Dollar Tree can be a budget-friendly way to discover new favorite sweets, from Snickers-flavored iced coffee to Jell-O Mini Snacks. Because most items at the chain are priced at $1.25, it’s also a great spot to try new-to-you products and discover your new favorite treat.

Last winter, Dollar Tree debuted a candy that customers couldn’t believe was just $1.25—but it quickly became a fan favorite. Right before the holidays, Dollar Tree embraced the Dubai chocolate trend with a single-serve candy bar that customers quickly snatched up, thanks to its price tag that was significantly cheaper than other brands.

Now, after selling out quickly, the Dubai Chocolate Bar is officially back on Dollar Tree shelves—and fans are racing to find it.

Dollar Tree Brings Back Dubai-Style Chocolate

Next time you visit Dollar Tree, keep an eye out for Beyoglu Dubaco Dubai Style Milk Chocolate Bar. The 1.25-ounce candy bar is made with pistachio and kataifi (also known as kadayif), a Middle Eastern pastry similar to shredded phyllo dough. The bar is also described as having a hint of cardamom and dates, in keeping with the trending flavors of Dubai chocolate.

When the chocolate bar debuted, I went on the hunt for this popular DT snack in my hometown, using the store’s website to see if any locations near me had the candy bar in stock. Out of more than 20 stores near my house, only one still had the chocolate in stock, so I hopped in my car to track it down.

So, how does this Dollar Tree find taste? Crunchy and decadent. It tastes exactly like gourmet, name-brand Dubai chocolate, but for a fraction of the price. It’s perfectly chocolatey with a bit of crunch, and just enough pistachio flavor. The texture is spot on. I give these chocolate bars a 10/10 and will definitely be picking them up again now that they’re back in stores.

I’m not alone in my appreciation for these $1.25 Dubai chocolate bars. Fans have already added rave reviews on Dollar Tree’s website. “I bought this not knowing if it was going to be good,” wrote one shopper, “but it was so good, and I definitely will buy it every time I’m here.”

“For one dollar the chocolate is very nice,” said another. “The ingredients don’t taste cheap and the inside looks like the packaging. The texture was crunchy and tasted legitimately delicious.”

Another shopper described the chocolate bars as, “creamy, a little nutty, and lightly crispy,” and I’d have to agree. In fact, at the low price, the bars would be perfect to eat on their own, or to use folded into chocolate chip cookie dough or chopped up as a cupcake topping. I may even surprise my family with Dubai chocolate pancakes instead of their traditional request that I add chocolate chips to the batter.
