Hong Kong fencer Ryan Choi Chun-yin released a new song on Friday with local popstar Edan Lui Cheuk-on as he continues his burgeoning music career.
The duo, who were roommates at the University of Hong Kong, unveiled the song “1206”, a title that refers to the number of the room they shared at the time.
The song centres on their friendship and personal growth over the years.
In the music video, Choi and Lui return to their old Suen Chi Sun Hall dormitory, recreating scenes from their student days and daily hall life, alongside clips of Choi fencing.
The video also features pivotal moments in both men’s careers.
In one scene, Lui tells Choi he is thinking about auditioning for Good Night Show – King Maker, the reality series that would later launch his career.
