Argos has Nintendo Switch 2 stock with Mario Kart at ‘lowest price ever’

This bundle normally costs £429.99, so that’s a saving of £30, but half the battle with the Switch 2 is finding it in stock in the first place.

The console on its own retails for £395.99, so in effect here you are getting the Mario Kart World game for a mere £4 – not bad considering a physical copy of the game retails at £74.99.

The Nintendo Switch 2 is the wildly successful bestselling sequel to, obviously, the Nintendo Switch. The new console was released in June of this year and has been regularly out of stock in the months since, especially with the headline launch game Mario Kart World bundled with it for a reduced price.

It’s very possible that the Switch 2 could sell out in the UK in the run up to Christmas, so Black Friday is a good time to invest if you wanted to pick up the new machine or make sure its nestled under the tree for someone come December 25.

The Switch 2, just like the original, can be used as a handheld console thanks to the large HD screen with attached controllers. The console comes with a dock that can be hooked up to the TV just like a PlayStation or Xbox, with the controllers magnetically unclipping to be used wirelessly. These can be held in each hand and used with motion controls or clipped onto the included controller grip.

This cut-price bundle includes a digital download version of Mario Kart World (via download code for the Nintendo eShop) rather than the physical game card. It can be downloaded onto the 256GB storage that comes with the Switch 2, though you may in time want to invest in a microSD card to expand the storage for you to carry around multiple games.

If you owned the original Switch, you can also play games you already own on this console if they are compatible and you still own them digitally.
