The trust’s Community In Reach Team was named winner of the prestigious ‘Clinical Team of the Year’ award for the work it does supporting safe and timely hospital discharges and preventing unnecessary admissions.

Donna Smillie, staff vaccination programme and locality lead in the Berkshire Immunisation Team, received the Compassionate Care Award for going above and beyond to improve the lives of those she supports.

Donna took the award alongside Mel Jarvis, CAMHS service manager, who was also recognised with a Compassionate Care Award for her dedicated approach to improving care for children, young people, and families.

The Volunteer and Charitable Contribution Award was presented to Slough Older People’s Mental Health Living Well Programme Co-production Team, which is made-up of former carers who volunteer their time to shape, support and deliver activities across the programme.

Sophie Widdison received the Bill Johnston Innovation Award for her outstanding contribution to quality improvement across the trust, while Melanie Matthews, regulatory compliance lead, was named Non-Clinical Colleague of the Year.
