TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) forecasts sunny weather in the majority of regions across Indonesia this weekend, Saturday, July 25, 2026.
According to the official BMKG website observed in Jakarta on Saturday, sunny weather is expected in the cities of Jakarta, Bandar Lampung, Bandung, Banjarbaru, Gorontalo, Kendari and Kupang.
The agency’s weather forecast is also seeing sunny skies for Makassar, Mamuju, Manokwari, Mataram, Nabire, Palu, Samarinda, Serang, Sorong, Surabaya and Yogyakarta.
Meanwhile, the weather in a number of other cities, such as Ambon, Banda Aceh, Bengkulu, Jambi, Jayapura and Manado, is expected to be cloudy.
Cloudy skies are also expected in other cities such as Palangka Raya, Palembang, Pekanbaru, Pontianak and Semarang.
BMKG predicts that the weather in the cities of Denpasar, Merauke, Sofifi and Tanjung Selor will be partly cloudy.
On the other hand, drizzly weather will be greeting the cities of Medan, Padang, Pangkal Pinang and Tanjung Pinang. In the city of Jayawijaya, the air is predicted to be hazy.
