In addition to fully built vehicles, the company is expanding exports of automotive parts and components to support assembly operations in various international markets.
Headquartered in Pune, SAVWIPL manages the Indian operations of six Volkswagen Group brands and operates manufacturing facilities in Chakan and Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. Together, these facilities have a combined annual production capacity of 315,000 units.
The company crossed the milestone of two million locally manufactured vehicles in 2025 and continues to deepen localization through investments in supplier development and advanced manufacturing.
