inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. The East Jakarta Metro Police are still investigating alleged fraud perpetrated by a wedding organizer (WO) against the bride and groom Aldi (32) and Feny (32). Preliminary investigations indicate that the owner of the WO has allegedly fled.

“Based on the investigation and findings of investigators, the perpetrator is currently no longer at his office,” explained the Head of the Public Informations Sub-Division of the Jakarta Regional Metro Police, Police Assistant Superintendent Andaru Rahutomo, to reporters on Tuesday (5/26/2026).

Andaru stated that investigators had also visited the WO office located in Jakarta Garden City (JGC). The office was found to be empty.

“Based on their findings, the WO office in question is currently closed and the perpetrators are no longer at their residence,” he said.

He added that Aldi and Feny are not the only victims of the said WO. To date, two other couples have come forward and claimed to have suffered losses amounting to tens of millions of rupiah.

“So, roughly, the losses from the three victims who have reported to the investigative team ranged between 70 and 80 million rupiah. Another victim has lost around 50 million rupiah,” he explained.
