B8 eliminate Lynn Vision to stay alive in Guangzhou 2026

B8 kept their playoff hopes alive at XSE Pro League Guangzhou 2026 with a convincing 2-0 victory over Lynn Vision in the 1-2 elimination bracket. The Ukrainian squad recovered from a map down scare on Dust2 before closing out the series on Ancient, advancing to the 2-2 pool. Meanwhile, Lynn Vision’s tournament run came to an end after suffering their third defeat of the Swiss Stage.

B8 keep their campaign alive as Lynn Vision are eliminated

After dropping to the 1-2 bracket following losses to Nemesis and Alliance, B8 entered the series knowing another defeat would end their tournament. The Ukrainian side responded with one of its most complete performances in Guangzhou, overcoming Lynn Vision 2-0 to remain in contention for a playoff spot.

For Lynn Vision, the defeat marks the end of their campaign. After beating Luminosity in Round 2, the Chinese side lost to BIG, PARIVISION, and B8, ending the Swiss Stage with a 1-3 record.

B8 edge out Dust2 before sealing the series on Ancient

The series began on Dust2, Lynn Vision’s map pick, where B8 survived a closely contested battle. After an evenly matched first half, the Ukrainians pulled away after the side switch to secure a 16-14 victory.

On Ancient, B8 looked far more comfortable. The team controlled the pace from the opening rounds and closed out the map 13-6, completing a clean 2-0 sweep.

Dmytro “esenthial” Tsvir led B8 with a 43-31 K-D, 90.8 ADR, and a 1.43 rating across the series. Artem “kensizor” Kapran also impressed with a 1.34 rating, while Danylo “s1zzi” Vinnyk added a solid 1.19 rating.

For Lynn Vision, only Qihao “C4LLM3SU3” Su (1.09) and Zhe “Westmelon” Niu (1.08) managed ratings above 1.00 as the Chinese squad struggled to match B8’s consistency.

Best player of the match

Dmytro “esenthial” Tsvir earned Player of the Match honors after delivering another outstanding series. The Ukrainian rifler finished with 43 kills, 90.8 ADR, and a 1.43 rating, playing a decisive role on both maps.

VRS impact

The victory also boosted B8 in the Valve Regional Standings. The Ukrainian team gained 14 VRS points, climbing from 17th to 15th, while Lynn Vision lost 9 points and dropped from 26th to 27th.

What’s next?

B8 advance to the decisive 2-2 qualification match, where a victory will secure the final playoff berth. Lynn Vision, meanwhile, are eliminated from XSE Pro League Guangzhou 2026 after finishing the Swiss Stage with a 2-3 record.
