The 21st China International Small and Medium Enterprises Fair (CISMEF) will be held from September 3 to 6, 2026, at Area D of the China Import and Export Fair Complex (Canton Fair Complex) in Guangzhou, Guangdong.

The Ministry of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises, Republic of Indonesia and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization will serve as the Guest of Honor at this year’s fair. The fair will span approximately 85,000 square meters and consist of thematic exhibitions, professional exhibitions, supporting events, and an online CISMEF platform.

The thematic exhibition will feature an international pavilion (including the Guest of Honor pavilion and pavilions for other countries and regions), a Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan pavilion, and others.

Professional exhibitions will focus on digital and intelligent transformation of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), industrial design, embodied AI, integrated circuits, and overseas expansion of SME characteristic industry clusters.

For the first time, the international pavilion will include an APEC economies exhibition area, alongside dedicated matchmaking and promotional events. The area will showcase new products, technologies, equipment, and distinctive traditional industries from APEC economies.

The Indonesian pavilion, covering around 1,300 square meters, will feature a dedicated central activity zone for traditional dance performances and interactive cultural events, fully presenting Indonesia’s local customs and cultural charm.

Under the theme of “AI Empowering SMEs,” the fair will bring together more than 1,000 high-quality Chinese enterprises and institutions, including competitive SMEs and characteristic industry clusters from various provinces, to present the latest AI-powered products and services across all sectors.

The 21st CISMEF aims to deeply integrate AI innovation achievements and APEC cooperation outcomes with the development needs of SMEs. It will serve as a platform for transforming research achievements into practical applications, connecting supply and demand, and sharing experience, thereby facilitating the application of advanced technologies, high-quality projects, and mature business models.
