Jumeirah 1, Jumeirah 2, Jumeirah 3, Umm Suqeim 1, Umm Suqeim 2, and Khor Al Mamzar Beach will all be designated for families only

With schools off for four extra days for the Eid Al Adha long weekend, families looking for things to do can plan for sun-soaked beach days at six of Dubai’s public beaches, which will be reserved exclusively for the Eid Al Adha break.

Dubai Municipality has announced on Instagram that the public beaches of Jumeirah 1, Jumeirah 2, Jumeirah 3, Umm Suqeim 1 Umm Suqeim 2 and Khor Al Mamzar Beach will all be reserved exclusively for families during the extra long weekend.

The night beaches at Jumeirah 2, Umm Suqeim 1 and Khor Al Mamzar will also be reserved for families over the break.

The announcement is part of Dubai Municipality’s continued efforts to provide a safe and comfortable environment for families to enjoy the city’s free beaches.

A long weekend on the horizon

The Eid Al Adha 2026 holidays will see private sector employees enjoy an extended break from Tuesday, May 26 until Friday May 29, but with the addition of the Saturday-Sunday weekend, that means six days off.

In the public sector, the full working week is confirmed as a public holiday,  from Monday May 25 to Friday May 29, giving a total of nine days off.

And if you’re looking for things to do, we’ve got you covered: from last-minute staycations to free activities and redeemable pool days, we’ve planned a fun-filled Eid break whatever you’re looking for.
