Hotel Review: Siri Sala, Bangkok

There are six rooms in total. Two river-facing suites – Bangkok Noi Suite and Ruen Hor Suite – lean into traditional Thai design, with wooden floors, panelled walls and hand-painted ceiling murals. The remaining four – Siri Rudee, Siri San, Siri Suk and Siri Kasem – adopt a more contemporary aesthetic, with clean lines, bathtubs and modern fittings.

Across all categories, heritage details anchor the design: a curved bookshelf crafted from a repurposed boat hull, vintage glass cabinets integrated into bathrooms and 300-thread-count Turkish cotton linens that bring the comfort level firmly into luxury hotel territory.

Bathrooms in select rooms feature traditional water jars for manual bathing, paired with modern rain showers – a thoughtful balance of cultural reference
and practicality.
