Air Jordan 12 ‘Twist’ White Leather Retro: Where to Buy Now

The best updates are often the simplest. Rather than reinventing the Air Jordan 12, the “Twist” keeps the clean leather construction and Taxi-inspired foundation intact while introducing bright crimson accents that shift the mood without changing the sneaker’s identity.

Where Can You Buy the Air Jordan 12 “Twist”?

Jordan Brand has not run this colorway back since 2021, so the aftermarket is the only route. StockX has pairs at $216 with a last sale of $249, and the three-month average has settled right at $249 against the $190 retail.

Flight Club carries it as well. With 96 sales in three months and volatility sitting at 10 percent, this is a stable market rather than a spiking one, which means there is no real penalty for waiting on your size.

What Makes This Retro Stand Out?

White tumbled leather covers the panels, and the textured mudguard stays tonal instead of breaking the shoe up the way most 12s do. Metallic University Red handles the eyelets, the Jumpman side tabs and the “23” on the heel.

Black does quiet work on the woven heel tab, the lining and the “TWO3” embroidery on the tongue. Next to something like the ‘Royalty Taxi’, the restraint here is the entire selling point.

Why Does It Still Matter?

The Air Jordan 12 has always been the most structured shoe in the line, and a mostly white build is the version that actually works in July. Most of the celebrated 12s lean dark, which leaves a narrow lane this one has to itself.

That makes it an easy entry point for anyone who finds the ‘Gym Red’ or ‘Deep Royal Blue’ too loud for daily rotation. It plays well with almost anything.

Should You Buy the Air Jordan 12 “Twist” 2021?

At a $249 average the premium is real but not punishing, especially for a five-year-old retro with no return on the calendar. Reviewers have consistently called it true to size, so ordering is low risk.

The catch is upkeep, because white leather across the whole upper shows everything. Treat it like a warm-weather pair and it earns its keep, the same way the sleeper ‘Master’ did once people caught on.
