Hopefully, you’ve been celebrating May the 4th wherever in the world you are and in Japan the Star Wars galaxy came together to celebrate the saga and get excited for the arrival, of The Mandalorian and Grogu, and to kick off we take a look at the May the 4th activities in Yokohama’s Minato Mirai district.
To commemorate the release of “Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Glogo,” a countdown event was held in Yokohama’s Minato Mirai district on May 4th, “Star Wars Day,” leading up to the special moment at 5:04 PM. Yuno Nagao, Tomoyuki Morikawa, Toshiyuki Itakura of Impulse, and Kumi Sasaki, all passionate about Star Wars, appeared at the event and celebrated the special moment with the many fans gathered at the venue.
“STAR WARS DAY YOKOHAMA MINATOMIRAI 2026” is currently being held in Yokohama’s Minato Mirai district, and a large crowd of Star Wars fans have flocked there. Some are dressed in Star Wars costumes, others are carrying their own lightsabers, and everyone is enjoying Star Wars in their own way. The event has started amidst a lively atmosphere filled with excitement, with families and people of all ages enjoying themselves.

Finally, opening on 27th April a new event called “Star Wars Galaxy in the Holy Land of Yurakucho” has opened, transforming Yurakucho into a Star Wars wonderland.
