India’s white-ball campaign continues with a challenging five-match T20I series against England, beginning on July 1 and running until July 11. The Men in Blue will then stay on for a three-match ODI series as they look to bounce back strongly after a 2-0 T20I series defeat in Ireland.
The opening T20I will be played at the Riverside Ground in Chester-le-Street, with the action set to begin at 10:00 PM IST. The series presents India with an opportunity to regain momentum against one of the world’s strongest T20I sides in their own backyard.
Shreyas Iyer will captain India in the shortest format, while Tilak Varma has been named vice-captain for the tour. The visitors will be eager to make a statement and register their first away T20I series win since November 2025.
