Hulu has released first-look images of The Season, a new drama filmed in Hong Kong from producer PCCW Media, in partnership with studio SK Global, which made hit series like Crazy Rich Asians, Thai Cave Rescue, and Delhi Crime. The drama is expected to air on Hulu in the United States next summer.

Set in English, the series revolves around a group of friends who gather to celebrate the boating season in Hong Kong in the summer months. However, everything changes with the arrival of a new friend, leading the group to discover long-buried secrets of theirs.

International cast includes actors such as Jessie Mei Li from Shadow and Bone, three-time Golden Horse Award winner Karena Lam, Chris Pang from Interior Chinatown, Justin Chien from The Brothers Sun, Yvonne Chapman from Avatar: The Last Airbender, Celina Jade from Wolf Warrior 2, and Toby Stephens from Percy Jackson and the Olympians. Additional cast members of the series include Kōki, who received the Rising Star of Asia award in 2025; Lee Jae-yoon, famous for his role in Physical 100 Season 2; and Lyman Heung, winner of the competition King Maker.
