Seyed Abbas Araghchi, Iran’s foreign minister, reacted to reports about a secret visit by Benjamin Netanyahu, the prime minister of Israel, to the United Arab Emirates, saying that those who collaborate with Israel will be held accountable.
The Iranian foreign minister wrote in a message on X on Thursday, May 14, that enmity toward the “great people of Iran” is a foolish gamble.
Araghchi added: “Netanyahu has now publicly revealed what Iran’s security services long ago conveyed to our leadership.”
The Iranian foreign minister described what he called “attempts to create division” as unforgivable.
Yesterday, Al Jazeera reported, citing sources, that Netanyahu had made a secret trip to the United Arab Emirates and met with the country’s president.
However, the official Emirati news agency Emirates News Agency (WAM) denied the reports that Netanyahu had traveled to the country.
It is worth noting that in recent days, reports have also circulated about Israeli arms assistance to the United Arab Emirates to help defend against Iranian missiles and drones.
