Katie Price has been gifted a new ring by husband Lee Andrews after he was reportedly released from Al Awir prison in Dubai
Katie Price has shown off another fresh ring from husband Lee Andrews following allegations he recycled her previous one when proposing to a different woman.
She’s reinforced her dedication to her partner despite suggestions she’d travelled to see him to end their relationship. That appears far from reality after he was freed from the infamous Al Awir prison in Dubai – though she’s acknowledged he has several matters to address.
She’s now returned to the Middle East and it appears he’s attempted to win her over with a lavish present. She reshared an image of the pair soaking up the sunshine in Dubai, with a caption describing the couple – who tied the knot just days after their initial meeting – as ‘wedding goals’.
Katie approved the photograph and posted it to her Facebook audience. She captioned it “Mr and Mrs. Love my new ring.”
Lee made waves when reports emerged that he’d supposedly used the identical ring to propose to his influencer former partner Dina Taj as he did when asking Katie to marry him, reports the Mirror.
The latest ring represents yet another gift he’s splashed out on, having already purchased her a different ring just weeks following their January nuptials.
Following a turbulent fortnight of rumours about his location, it emerged Lee had been imprisoned. Upon his release from custody last week, his immediate priority was reaching out to his spouse.
An insider revealed: “He called Kate straight away and she was thrilled – not least because she didn’t pay a penny of the £140,000 fine to get him out. Of course she has heard the discourse surrounding him, and she’s not stupid.
“She knows the optics aren’t great if she stays with this man. But as any woman who has been love-bombed knows, it’s hard to leave when you’re being treated so well.”
Katie arrived back in the UK without her wedding ring following her visit to Lee in prison last week, yet a source close to her revealed she has no intention of ending the relationship.
She stated that she had been approached to pay a six-figure sum to secure Lee’s release, but had refused. “The only way Lee will get out of prison is he has to sort himself it out himself. If not, he’ll be in prison. I’m not here [in Dubai] to pay anything for anyone. There’s nothing I can do. I’ve got my own life, even though he’s part of my life,” she said.
Lee had initially claimed his arrest and detention stemmed from espionage allegations, though it was subsequently reported to be a private civil matter.
In an unprecedented admission, Katie revealed she needed answers from Lee, warning she would walk away if he failed to provide them. “I need answers, and if I don’t like the answers, I’ll be gone,” she told the Sun newspaper.
She went on to say: “I’m 48. I don’t need to waste my time. We get along really well and he’s so intelligent … As much as I want to listen to the women [his exes] and I’m really open-minded about it, I know what a good woman I am.”
