FYTE Hospitality is bringing Japanese restaurant brand Hikiniku To Come to Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE), with the first outlet set to open in September at CMPLX in Al Quoz.

Hikiniku To Come focuses on Wagyu Hamburg patties cooked on custom-built grills.

According to a press release posted on Zawya, the launch will mark the introduction of the restaurant concept in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region.

FYTE Hospitality has secured exclusive master franchise rights for the concept across the GCC.

The Dubai launch was postponed from an earlier target date due to global logistics disruptions and delays in shipping specialised kitchen equipment, which FYTE linked to regional conflicts.

FYTE Hospitality co-founder and CEO Tamer Elkhayat said: “We have always believed that if we are going to introduce Hikiniku To Come to the GCC, we need to do it properly.

“While the delays were unfortunate, they allowed us to ensure that every piece of equipment, every design detail, and every operational standard aligns with the experience guests receive in Tokyo.

“We believe September is the perfect time to introduce one of Asia’s most successful restaurant concepts to Dubai.”

The company said the Dubai outlet will be among the brand’s “most premium” locations and will use 100% Halal-certified Wagyu beef.

FYTE Hospitality co-founder and chief operating officer Faisal Yabroudi said: “Dubai has become one of the world’s most competitive and sophisticated dining destinations, where guests expect authenticity, consistency, and execution at the highest level. Hikiniku To Come delivers all three.

“We did not pursue this partnership because it was trending or widely recognised. We pursued it because we believe it is one of the most operationally refined and conceptually unique restaurant brands to emerge from Asia in recent years.”

The group also plans to open two additional Hikiniku To Come sites in the UAE in 2027.
