PANews reported on April 12 that, according to the Bangkokpost, a 27-year-old German hacker, Noah Christopher, was arrested in Bangkok, Thailand, and faces up to 74 arrest warrants in Europe for cybercrime offenses. Investigations reveal that he is suspected of developing and operating a ransomware platform and a “Cybercrime as a Service” (CaaS) system between 2021 and 2025, including providing distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attack tools (such as Fluxstress and Neldowner), assisting clients worldwide in launching cyberattacks and receiving payments. These ransom payments involved cryptocurrencies and other digital assets, constituting transnational cybercrime. His visa has been revoked, and he is currently in custody awaiting extradition to Germany.
