TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicted that parts of Jakarta will experience light rain from Friday afternoon until the evening, April 10, with temperatures ranging between 24 and 30 degrees Celsius.

According to the agency’s official website, West, North, Central, East, and South Jakarta are expected to be cloudy to partly cloudy on Friday morning, while the Thousand Islands are likely to see light rain.

As the afternoon approaches, all of Jakarta is expected to experience light rain as humidity levels rise and rain clouds move in from the northwest.

Later in the afternoon, West, Central, and North Jakarta, along with the Thousand Islands, are expected to see light rain, while East and South Jakarta are predicted to face moderate rainfall.

By the evening, all of the capital is projected to be blanketed by thick clouds once again, with rain intensity tapering off and light winds blowing from the northeast.

This morning’s temperature is predicted to hover in the range of 24–29 degrees Celsius, with relative humidity reaching up to 85 percent in some areas of the capital.

During the day, temperatures are expected to reach 27–30 degrees Celsius, while at night, the air will cool to a range of 25–28 degrees Celsius.
