Croatia Airlines plans to upgrade a select number of its seasonal routes during the upcoming winter season, which begins on October 25. Several services will be extended beyond their traditional summer schedules, with some becoming year-round operations while others will be maintained for most of the winter.
The carrier’s Zagreb – Madrid service, launched on a seasonal basis last July, will now operate for most of the year. Flights will continue three times per week until January 16, 2027, before being suspended for two months. Services are scheduled to resume on March 15. Croatia Airlines will face no direct competition on the route during the winter months.
Services between the Croatian capital and Stockholm, which were extended last winter to operate until mid-January before being suspended throughout February and most of March, will now run throughout the entire winter season. Croatia Airlines plans to maintain three weekly flights on the route. The carrier does not face direct competition between the two capitals.
Elsewhere in its network, Croatia Airlines will also upgrade its Split – Istanbul service to year-round operations. During the previous winter season, the route was maintained until January 11 before resuming in March. This winter, however, flights will operate throughout the season with three weekly rotations. The airline will once again face no direct competition on the route.
