Influence Media Partners, in collaboration with funds and accounts managed by affiliates of BlackRock, has signed an agreement to acquire substantially all of Anthem Entertainment’s music publishing, film and television publishing, and master recording assets in a transaction valued at more than $600 million.

The acquisition includes more than 24,000 released songs and more than 60,000 additional unpublished works. The catalog features recordings and compositions including Britney Spears’ “Oops!… I Did It Again,” Justin Timberlake’s “SexyBack,” Timbaland’s “The Way I Are,” OneRepublic’s “Counting Stars,” Rush’s “Tom Sawyer” and Cody Johnson’s “Til You Can’t.” It also includes film and television music from franchises such as Spider-Man, Men in Black and LEGO Ninjago.

The transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2026, subject to customary closing conditions.

“This acquisition marks a major milestone for Influence Media and reflects the momentum we’ve built as a platform,” said Lylette Pizarro McLean, founder and co-managing partner of Influence Media. “Anthem’s catalog extends far beyond hit songs – it’s music that has become woven into iconic moments, films, and shows that audiences around the world know and love.”

Paul Braude, chief investment officer of BlackRock’s Direct Private Opportunities Group, said the acquisition aligns with the firm’s strategy of investing in high-quality intellectual property assets with long-term value.

Truist led the debt financing for the transaction and served as financial advisor to Influence Media. Goldman Sachs served as exclusive financial advisor to Anthem Entertainment.

New York-based Influence Media Partners acquires and manages music and entertainment intellectual property, while Toronto- and Nashville-based Anthem Entertainment is a global music rights management and publishing company with catalogs spanning music, film and television.
