Dubai Basketball officially sign French guard Elie Okobo on a multi-year deal. The proven EuroLeague guard joins Dubai alongside Monaco teammate Jaron Blossomgame.
Dubai Basketball have officially added French guard Elie Okobo on a multi-year deal.
Okobo last played for AS Monaco, where he averaged 11.2 points, 4.8 assists and 2.4 rebounds in 25 minutes of play. The guard has consistently proven himself as a reliable presence on the court as he has recorded his highest EuroLeague career assist average last season.
Okobo spent the last five seasons with AS Monaco and a year with LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne before that.
He has appeared in 182 EuroLeague games throughout his career. Last season in December he had one of his best performances against Paris Basketball where he scored 26 points, grabbed 4 rebounds and recorded 39 PIR.
He joins Dubai alongside his Monaco teammate Jaron Blossomgame, as the ABA League champions look to build a powerhouse in the EuroLeague.
