XPeng Aktie: Robotaxi-Testbetrieb in Guangzhou gestartet

XPeng wandelt sich vom reinen E-Auto-Hersteller zum Spezialisten für künstliche Intelligenz. In der chinesischen Metropole Guangzhou hat das Unternehmen nun den internen Testbetrieb für seine eigene Robotaxi-Plattform aufgenommen. Konzernchef He Xiaopeng saß bei der ersten Fahrt persönlich auf dem Rücksitz.

Die Technologie hinter dem Projekt bricht mit gängigen Branchenstandards. XPeng setzt auf ein reines Kamerasystem und verzichtet auf teure Lidar-Sensoren oder hochpräzise Karten. Das System basiert auf dem Flaggschiff-Modell XPeng GX.

Vier hauseigene „Turing“-Chips steuern das Fahrzeug. Diese liefern zusammen eine Rechenleistung von 3.000 TOPS. Die Software ist so konzipiert, dass sie Fahrfunktionen von der einfachen Assistenz bis hin zum vollautonomen Fahren auf Level 4 abdeckt.

Strategiewechsel zum Exportmodell

Der Konzern verfolgt ein kapitalarmes Geschäftsmodell. XPeng will keine eigenen riesigen Taxiflotten betreiben. Stattdessen positioniert sich das Unternehmen als Zulieferer für Hard- und Software.

Das Ziel: Der Export kompletter autonomer Systeme an globale Partner. Erste Gespräche mit Interessenten aus Europa, Südostasien und dem Nahen Osten laufen bereits. XPeng stellt dabei auch die notwendigen Algorithmen für die Flottensteuerung bereit.

Umbau in der Führungsetage

Parallel zum Teststart ordnet das Management die Zuständigkeiten neu. Nach dem Abschied des bisherigen Robotik-Chefs übernimmt CEO He Xiaopeng die Leitung der Sparte selbst. Damit rückt das Thema der „physischen KI“ direkt in das Zentrum der Macht.

An der Börse sorgte die Nachricht für leichte Kursgewinne. Das Papier kletterte am Freitag um rund ein Prozent auf 11,50 Euro. Damit notiert der Titel knapp 13 Prozent über seinem bisherigen Jahrestief.

Trotz der aktuellen Erholung bleibt die Bilanz für 2026 belastet. Seit Januar verlor die Aktie rund 34 Prozent an Wert. Hohe Cash-Reserven von 420,9 Milliarden Yuan stützen jedoch die teuren Forschungs- und Entwicklungsprojekte.

Der Zeitplan für die kommenden Monate steht fest. Bis Ende 2026 will XPeng die ersten öffentlichen Passagier-Dienste in Guangzhou anbieten. Im gleichen Zeitraum soll die Serienproduktion humanoider Roboter anlaufen.
