Cairo, Egypt – Three male and female players from the UAE are participating in the Fencing World Cup for men’s and women’s singles. Hosted by the Egyptian capital, Cairo, during the period from April 16 to 19, with the participation of 44 countries.
The list of players includes Fares Al Balushi and Al Hiyam Al Balushi from Fujairah Martial Arts Club, and Khalifa Al Kaabi from Abu Dhabi Fencing Club.
Musa Al Balushi, Secretary General of the Emirates Fencing Federation, confirmed that the players’ participation in major international tournaments comes within the clubs’ strategy to develop their technical levels. By interacting with the world’s elite players and gaining competitive experience.
