UK court rules against banks in motor finance case

The Court of Appeal has ruled against UK banks after they appealed to stop mass litigation for alleged mis-selling in the motor finance scandal.

Several lenders, including Lloyds Bank, Close Brothers and Aldermore Bank, had urged judges to block mass lawsuits brought against banks on behalf of motorists.
