Gulfstream Aerospace Corp. announced new on-site Gulfstream Customer Support based in Singapore, further strengthening the company’s service capabilities across the Asia-Pacific region (APAC) and reinforcing its commitment to supporting customers wherever they operate. Located in partnership with Jet Aviation at their Singapore site, this dedicated Gulfstream Customer Support office provides customers with immediate access to Gulfstream personnel, expertise and support while their aircraft are in region. The opening marks the first time Gulfstream has formally established a Customer Support office at this location.
The Singapore office is staffed by a team of eight Gulfstream professionals, including customer technical managers (CTM), materials and quality team members, a field service representative (FSR) and a regional sales manager (RSM). Together, the team works exclusively on behalf of Gulfstream customers to ensure a consistent high-touch service experience and global standard of support excellence.
“Gulfstream is seeing increased activity across Asia, and Singapore was a natural choice for our next Customer Support expansion given its role as a leading aerospace hub,” said Lor Izzard, senior vice president, Gulfstream Customer Support. “Adding this dedicated on-site team allows us to deliver a more seamless and convenient service experience for customers across the region.”
Jet Aviation Singapore is one of Gulfstream’s six factory authorised service centers worldwide, and the new Gulfstream office at this site complements the company’s broader APAC Customer Support presence, which includes nine FSRs and three Gulfstream FAST Field and Airborne Support Teams throughout the region, along with 10 authorised warranty facilities worldwide that provide customers with greater access to warranty service, maintenance and parts.
Gulfstream also operates a distribution center in Singapore, a 5,000-square-foot/465-square-meter facility that fullfills more than 70% of regional parts orders. The site houses more than $70 million in dedicated spare parts inventory, supporting repairs and advancing Gulfstream’s long-term strategy to expand in-house component support and enhance parts availability for customers.
Gulfstream delivers 100th G700
Gulfstream Aerospace announced its 100th customer delivery and the 100th city-pair speed record for the Gulfstream G700, underscoring the exceptional performance and speed of the aircraft, backed by Gulfstream’s advanced manufacturing excellence and widespread customer demand.
“The G700 has once again set a new benchmark, firmly establishing itself as the business aviation industry flagship,” said Mark Burns, president, Gulfstream. “As deliveries have increased, so has customer demand. Thanks to the investments Gulfstream and our parent company, General Dynamics, have made in next‑generation manufacturing technology and facilities, the G700 quality and maturity are second to none. I am incredibly proud of the Gulfstream team, whose dedication and expertise continues to create and deliver the world’s finest aviation experience.”
The 100th G700 city-pair speed record connected Savannah with San Jose, California, in 4 hours and 36 minutes at an average cruise speed of Mach 0.91. The aircraft then flew from San Jose to Teterboro, New Jersey, making that record-setting flight in 4 hours and 14 minutes, also at Mach 0.91.
The G700 is produced at Gulfstream’s advanced manufacturing campus in Savannah, which enhances operational efficiency through high‑technology tooling, advanced robotics and precision assembly methods.
