VOXX BKK highlights Bangkok’s shrinking living spaces in new campaign for Homerun Proptech – Campaign Brief Asia

Bangkok has become a city of constant acceleration. As more people move to the capital in search of opportunity, living spaces continue to shrink while daily life becomes increasingly rushed and compressed.

Recognising this reality, VOXX BKK has launched a new campaign for Homerun Proptech, a condominium renovation specialist that transforms older, larger apartments into modern living spaces.

The campaign is inspired by a growing issue in Thailand’s capital, where newly developed condominiums are becoming smaller each year. As urban residents adapt to increasingly limited space, cramped living conditions are gradually being accepted as a normal part of city life.

Built around a Thai wordplay between “Reeb” (to rush) and “Leeb” (to shrink), the film suggests that the faster people move through modern urban life, the more their lives and living spaces become compressed. This idea is brought to life through a striking visual metaphor in which city dwellers gradually shrink in size as they adapt to smaller and smaller homes.

Through this surreal transformation, the film explores how limited space, constant competition and the relentless pursuit of success can compress not only where people live, but also how they live. Rather than positioning larger homes as simply a property feature, the campaign presents space as a way to reclaim comfort, freedom and a better quality of life.

By renovating older condominium units built during an era when living spaces were significantly more generous, Homerun Proptech offers an alternative to today’s increasingly compact housing trends. The film aims to encourage reflection on how modern city life is reshaping lifestyles and to spark conversation about what quality living should really mean in an increasingly crowded urban environment.
