UAE hospitality group JA Resorts & Hotels will initiate a series of refurbishments across its Dubai portfolio, aimed at enhancing guest experiences while preserving property character.

The planned works will span the group’s beachfront, city and mountain properties, alongside new leisure infrastructure projects.

Renovation works at JA The Resort in Jebel Ali will begin this summer and conclude by Q4 2026. The beachfront complex will upgrade leisure facilities including Club Joumana, which will feature a new clubhouse and sports café. The property is also set to launch a new JA Sports & Shooting Club this summer, expanding its range of activities.

JA Ocean View Hotel in Dubai’s Jumeirah Beach Residence will undergo an extensive façade upgrade starting May 2026. Located in one of Dubai’s busiest tourist districts, the hotel’s exterior plays an important role in maintaining its visual appeal. Opened in 2012, the property is located near key attractions such as Ain Dubai and Bluewaters Island.

JA Hatta Fort Hotel will undergo the portfolio’s most extensive refurbishment programme, with a phased masterplan focused on enhancing space and privacy. Nestled in the Hajar Mountains, the first phase of renovation at the nature-led retreat will feature a new wellness centre, enhanced public spaces and more contemporary-style accommodation. The property will remain operational as work begins in stages this summer.

Ralph Porciani, CEO of JA Resorts & Hotels, said: “These enhancements reflect how we continue to evolve our properties with care, ensuring they remain relevant, while retaining the familiarity and warmth our guests value.”

JA Resorts joins a growing list of hotels across Dubai that are currently undergoing renovation, including key properties such as Armani Hotel Dubai and Jumeirah Burj Al Arab, both closed until 2027, as well as JW Marriott Marquis Hotel Dubai and St Regis Dubai The Palm, among others.
