Rain Forecast for Jakarta on Thursday Afternoon and Evening

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts light rain for the Jakarta area on Thursday afternoon and evening.

Information from the BMKG on its Instagram account, as quoted by ANTARA, stated that the Jakarta area, including West Jakarta, East Jakarta, Central Jakarta, North Jakarta, South Jakarta, and the Thousand Islands Regency, is predicted to be partly cloudy in the morning.

The sunny, cloudy weather continued until Thursday afternoon, with air temperatures ranging from 30 to 32 degrees Celsius.

Moving into the afternoon, all of Jakarta except North Jakarta and the Thousand Islands Regency will be showered with moderate rain, while the two areas will still be cloudy.

It will also rain in Jakarta until evening, except in the Thousand Islands Regency, where it is expected to be partly cloudy.

It’s known that light rain drops less than 1-5 mm (millimeters) of water per hour. Moderate rain drops 5-10 mm of water per hour.

On that day, wind speeds in the five regions ranged from 3 to 7 kilometers per hour, and air temperatures ranged from 24 to 32 degrees Celsius.
